Funny thing about these pictures is that Peter had no idea that Logan was behind him, mimicking him. By the way...Peter is not drooling. He had chapstick on and the flash must have reflected off of it and made it look like he was drooling....LOL

Christmas pageant

We had our Christmas pageant at church on Saturday It was very cute. Devin was a wiseman..quite funny if you really know Devin.... along with his buddies Slade on his right and Steven on his left. You gotta love the spray painted Burger King crowns!



Logan was a sheperd. You must know Logan in person to fully understand how funny this picture is of him. He will certainly be praying ALOT in his life for forgiveness....LOL.

The tree

Here is our tree...it's tall and thin (not like me....LOL.? The boys had fun decorating but it was bittersweet as we all hung our own special ornaments and Nikolai was not here to hang his. They are hung on the tree though and we will cherish them every year.

We hope the bunnies will not eat the whole tree before Christmas!

Our first snow

We got lots and lots of snow today. I would guess close to a foot. I suppose its technically not our first snow this winter as we did have flurries on Dec. 1st. This is the first that accumulated to anything. The boys have shoveled the driveway which is a big help to mom. It's a light fluffy snow so that made the job a bit easier. They enjoyed their day off from school. I always love surprise days off...who doesn't?? Personally though, I am done with snow for this year. It can all melt! We made our second batch of Christmas cookies today also. I still have at least 2 more different kinds to make and there may be 3 more...time will determine if that gets done or not.

I'm 7!

So we finally had our family birthday party for Logan yesterday. He turned 6 on Sept. 19th and due to everyone's busy schedules we have not been able to have his family party until yesterday. Included in his celebration was my neice, Cori who tuned 10 on Dec. 2, My nephew Justin who turned 17 on Nov. 5th and my mom, Grammy, who's b-day is Dec. 11th. As the family has grown over the years we have to combine b-day celebrations.

Anyway...he promply announced yesterday that he was 7 and was a bit disappointed when he found out he is still 6. You'll get there next year Logan!



We also got our tree yesterday. The lights are on but no ornamets yet. Tonight we will do that. I have to go buy new lights because the bunnies already chewed through the wire this morning of the brand new lights I bought already...aaarrrggghhhh!!!!! My fault I guess. They were just doing what bunnies do.

1st post

I can't believe I have succumb to being a blogger. I suppose I always come around to technology...just slower than most. It took me years to get a cell phone...because I didn't need one...now I can't live without it..LOL

Since so many things are going on in our lives...I guess this is a great way to keep anyone who cares informed. I will write more later as time allows so check back when you can.
