Charlie

Charlie is our brand new mini-dashchund. He traveled all the way from Wisconsin...arriving a day late due to the horrible weather but safe with his former "mom" the whole time. The boys are thrilled and Charlie loves them already. Sebastian is handling it well.....only one small growl at one point. The bunnies are not quite sure what to think of him and vise versa and Savannah has dissappeared down to the basement. What a scaredy cat!

Great Wolf Lodge

Here are a few pics from our trip to the Great Wolf Lodge this weekend. The water park was awesome, however, the chlorine level in the air was way too high. Peter was sick the past few days so he just coughed and coughed and spent more time in our room because he couldn't breathe. My eyes burned just from the air. Other than that we had fun!...LOL The second day was a bit better and Peter was able to go on a few of the water slides. Devin and I went on 2 of the big water slides together.....the toilet was our favorite. Its actually called the Coyote Cannon but the idea of it is like a toilet. I did that one with Peter also...also a favorite. Logan attempted to go with me but he changed his mind rather quickly as we loaded on the tubes. He did go on the medium size slides though. Maybe next time. If we go back, it will be during the summer. There is an outdoor area also so the doors will be opened that connect the 2 which should help with the air quality.

Megan and Keira came down for a visit from Vermont again. It was very painful for Peter to have to smile for the camera but he suffered through it.

Happy Birthday to me

My nieces and nephews made a cake for me and surprised me with it last night. That was so sweet of them!

A prayer answered

This was the view out the front window this morning. Sebastian's prayers were answered...he had lots of snow to play in today. We didn't see any of it fall as it all fell overnight.

The kids had fun in the snow today too!

The lost tooth

Devin got up yesterday morning and says Mom, I've got good news and I've got bad news"..."I lost my tooth but I think I swallowed it"....He searched the bed but it was no where to be found. He wrote a letter to the tooth fairy explaining what happened and was very surprised that she left him a dollar. He was expecting a letter back.....which may of happened if the tooth fairy had not forgotten until 6 this morning. We did have a snow storm last night so the tooth fairy might have had transporation difficulties...right??? I bet that would of worked if I needed a quick explanation as to my forgetfullness...I mean the tooth fairies forgetfullness.

a general update

Boy have we been busy. I haven't had time to sit down and write a decent post. I am still adjusting to being back at work. I really don't like going to work...LOL I don't mind the job itself but I would just assume be a stay at home mom. I also got called into the birthing center last night so I was up all night tending to 2 of Gods new creations. I got hom this A.M at 5:45...slept for an hour...got the kids up for school...slept for an hour and half and then spent 2 hrs in a dentist chair. Then it was off for my CT scan. Came home...got the kids off the bus..dinner...and then off to boy scouts. This is pretty much how my days have been for the past week...running from one thing to another and I am tired!

Our weather the past 3 days has been wonderful! high 50's -mid 60's. Peter was able to take his homeschool co-op karate class that he is teaching outside for their class yesterday. The only drawback is all the mud!. The yard is swamp like in some area.

Devin and Logan both tried out Karate this past week and they both enjoyed it. They will be joining Peter in karate twice a week starting next week.

I am fading fast so I am off to bed....

Funny thing about these pictures is that Peter had no idea that Logan was behind him, mimicking him. By the way...Peter is not drooling. He had chapstick on and the flash must have reflected off of it and made it look like he was drooling....LOL

Christmas pageant

We had our Christmas pageant at church on Saturday It was very cute. Devin was a wiseman..quite funny if you really know Devin.... along with his buddies Slade on his right and Steven on his left. You gotta love the spray painted Burger King crowns!



Logan was a sheperd. You must know Logan in person to fully understand how funny this picture is of him. He will certainly be praying ALOT in his life for forgiveness....LOL.

The tree

Here is our tree...it's tall and thin (not like me....LOL.? The boys had fun decorating but it was bittersweet as we all hung our own special ornaments and Nikolai was not here to hang his. They are hung on the tree though and we will cherish them every year.

We hope the bunnies will not eat the whole tree before Christmas!
